Real Madrid playmaker Dani Ceballos is reportedly open to make the switch to Liverpool this summer as Spaniard midfielder is seeking a regular first-team football.
Spaniard has made the £12m switch from Real Betis to Real Madrid earlier last season, but he has struggled to secure a place in Zinedine Zidane’s starting lineup following the tough competition in the midfield area.
Under manager Zinedine Zidane this campaign, Ceballos has made only 11 appearances in all competitions, and just two of those have been in La Liga.
According to Diario Gol, Liverpool had an interest in the Spaniard last summer, and will look to reignite their pursuit amid reports that Ceballos wants to work with Jurgen Klopp.
The Merseyside Reds have made one signing in January, Virgil van Dijk from Southampton, while they sold their start player Philippe Coutinho.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are on the verge to complete £49 million deal for Leicester City forward Riyad Mahrez, according to reports from Britain.
Liverpool and Barcelona have finalised a £142m deal for Philippe Coutinho.
beIN Sports claim that Liverpool are now ready to splash the money and preparing €55m (£49m) for the Premier League winner forward.
