Juventus eyeing January move for 23-year-old Man Utd midfielder

Serie A defending champions, Juventus have reportedly identified Manchester United midfield maestro Donny van de Beek as a potential transfer target.

The Netherlands international made the decision to depart from Ajax for Old Trafford during the summer, signing a long-term deal in the process.

However, the 23-year-old playmaker is still waiting for his first start in the Premier League, instead being provided with more game time in the cup competitions.

According to Calciomercato, Italian giants are now keeping tabs on the situation as they consider an approach for the Dutch playmaker in 2021.

Although the Red Devils are unlikely to consider any offers at this stage, their stance may change if Italian giants are willing to offer in excess of £40m next summer.

Having played just 88 minutes of Premier League football across six games, Van de Beek’s agent has previously acknowledged his frustration with his clients lack of first-team football.

Meanwhile, Seire A giants, Inter Milan have reportedly told Premier League giants Manchester United and Liverpool that Nicolo Barella is not for sale at any price.

The 23-year-old, who has made a switch to San Siro on a permanent basis over the summer after spending last campaign on loan from Cagliari, has managed to provide four assists in 10 games for Antonio Conte’s side this season.

Liverpool and Man Utd have all been credited with an interest in the Italian playmaker, however, according to Calciomercato, Inter Milan are not prepared to sell him under any circumstances.
