La Liga giants plotting £77.8m move for Chelsea-linked midfielder

Real Madrid will reportedly put their full focus on beating Chelsea and Man Utd in the race to signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham this summer transfer window.

The 18-year-old midfielder has spent the last two campaigns with German giants, founding back of the net 10 times and 18 assists in 90 games following his arrival from Birmingham City back in July 2020.

Last season, Bellingham scored six times and provided 14 assists in 44 games in all competitions for Dortmund, while he has been involved for England over the current international break.

Promising midfielder recently confirmed that he will be spending the 2022-23 season with Dortmund, and the German giants are not prepared to sell him this summer under any circumstances, having already lost vital player Erling Braut Haaland to Manchester City.

“The only future I’m thinking about is the next game with Dortmund. And I will be here next season. I’m ready,” Bellingham told Ruhr Nachrichten when questioned on his future last month.

However, Dortmund are expected to face an uphill task to keep hold of the Englishman next season, with many of Europe’s leading teams said to be interested in his services.

Liverpool, Manchester United and Man City are all allegedly keen to bring him back to England ahead of the 2023-24 season.

The report claims that Los Blancos are prepared to pay €90m (£77.8m) for the youngster and ready to rival both Man Utd and Chelsea for his services.
