Leicester City are reportedly one of several teams keeping close tabs on Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham.
The England international forward has enjoyed regular game time with the West London club, under Frank Lampard, however, he has struggled to make an immediate impression under German head-coach, Thomas Tuchel since the German’s arrival.
Abraham was left out of the team to face Man City in the FA Cup semi-finals, with Tuchel citing a lack of confidence as the reason, and a niggling ankle problem has also prevented him from turning out in any of the Blues last six Premier League games.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Premier League outfits Leicester will look to strike a contract for Abraham if the Blues list him for transfer in the summer, although they are not the only club interested in securing the services of the 23-year-old.
Chelsea have been tipped to strengthen their attacking options in the summer, and they are supposedly the frountrunners to land Man City’s all-time goalscorer Sergio Aguero when his contra expires in the summer.
Abraham has scored six goals for the West London club in the 2020-21 Premier League campaign, and his current deal at Stamford Bridge set to expire in 2023.
