Liverpool and Man Utd reportedly among the teams interested in securing the services of Verona defender Marash Kumbulla.

The 20-year-old has played 18 games for the Serie A side this campaign so far, founding back of the net against Sampdoria back in October.

A report from Italian newspaper Tuttosport claimed that the Red Devils and Manchester City are both interested in securing the services of Kumbulla.

However, according to Gazzeta Dello Sport, both sides, as well as Liverpool and, are interested in the Albanian defender who has been valued at £25 million by Verona.

This report also adds that Borussia Dortmund have also keeping tabs on his signature.

Verona have been one of the surprise packages of the Serie A this campaign so far as the newly-promoted team managed by Ivan Juric are currently 6th in the table.

They are currently on an eight-match unbeaten run in the Serie A with their latest games seeing them defeat Juventus 2-1.

Kumbulla has done well for Verona this campaign so far and there’s a chance other teams might be interested in securing his services.

As far as the Merseyside Reds are concerned, they have some pretty good defender in the likes of Joe Gomez. Virgil van Dijk, Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip, it seems very unlikely that the Reds will make a move for his signature.
