Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly preparing to battle Liverpool and Manchester United for the services of Bayern Munich playmaker Thiago Alcantara ahead of the 2020-21 season.

The 29-year-old Spanish playmaker will see his current deal at the Allianz Arena end next summer, and Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge recently confirmed that the Spaniard is open to leave the club.

The Merseyside Reds have been heavily linked with the experienced playmaker, who has won seven Bundesliga trophies during his time with Der FCB.

However, according to Le 10 Sport, Ligue 1 champions, PSG are also in the hunt, with the creative Spaniard preparing a £27m offer as they attempt to beat Liverpool and Man Utd to a deal.

Thiago has again been a vital player for his German teams during the current campaign, founding back of the net three times and providing two assists in 36 games in all competitions.

Man Utd have already strengthened their midfield area by securing the services of Bruno Fernandes in winter, however, Solskajer keen on to add one more creative playmaker to his squad with Jack Grealish and James Maddison both rumoured with a switch to Old Trafford.

Liverpool have already lost Lallana who has joined Brighton, Xherdan Xhaqiri has been also tipped to leave the team and signing Alcantra could fill the gap.
