According to the reports, Premier League duo Liverpool and Arsenal have been dealt a massive blow in race for AS Monaco starlet Kylian Mbappe. as the highly-demanded youngster has agreed personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain over a move to the French capital.
The 18-year-old attacking sensation has been one of the most in-demand players in world football this summer, with a number of top clubs including Real Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City all linked with a transfer that could cost as much as £175m.
Paris Saint-Germain have already pulled off the largest transfer in footballing history, signing Neymar from Barcelona for around £200m, but could now break the bank again in order to land Kylian Mbappe.
As per the ‘Paris United’ Twitter account, the French teenager has agreed on personal terms with PSG and now AS Monaco need to settle on a transfer fee.
Various other reports have suggested that any deal to take Mbappe to PSG would involve some form of financing from the sports giant Nike, who are responsible for the Ligue 1 side’s kits and view the youngster as a good ambassador for the brand.
During his incredible debut season for Monaco last term, Mbappe managed to score 26 goals in 44 appearances in all competitions.
