Serie A outfits Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali is reportedly a transfer target for both Liverpool and Manchester United before the end of the January transfer window.

The 19-year-old midfielder who has also been heavily linked with Serie A defending champions, Juventus, played a vital role in Brescia’s promotion from Serie B last campaign and has again been in stunning form this season.

Indeed, the Italy international has contributed one goal and provided two assists in 18 Serie A appearences during the 2019-20 season, with his form allegedly leading to a host of attention.

According to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla, both Liverpool and Man Utd have sent scouts to keep close tabs on the teenager in action ahead of potential offers.

Pedulla also reports that Brescia would be willing to sell the central midfielder if they receive £43m offer for his signature.

Liverpool and Manchester United wend head-to-head on the field this weekend as Norwegian manager has suffered another defeat as Liverpool continue to continue their unbeaten run.

Meanwhile, AC Milan are reportedly in talks with Man United over a move for defensive midfielder Nemanja Matic, with the Serbian has struggled with first-team minutes at Old Trafford.

Matic has made only six Premier League appearances this campaign for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, with greater opportunities available in recent weeks because of injuries to Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba.

According to the Daily Mail, Serie A giants are interested in securing the services of the 31-year-old this month and have begun discussions with the 20-times English champions.
