Liverpool and their Premier League rivals Arsenal are interested in signing Norwich City midfielder Todd Cantwell, claims a fresh report.
The former England Under-21 international is out of contract with the Canaries in the summer of 2022.
The 23-year-old star does have a one-year option to renew that deal, but there have been no indications of the player doing so.
And Fichajes, report that the player does not want to extend his existing contract with the club.
The source also says that the reason for the ace’s recent absence is down to the fact that he hasn’t pledged his future to the East Anglian outfit.
Cantwell was not in the roster for the last two matches against Everton and Burnley. With Norwich City citing a “personal problem”.
Now the same outlet suggest the Reds and the Gunners are keen on Cantwell. Apparently, he is on the list of multiple important teams in England.
As per the report, Jurgen Klopp’s side have shown interest in Todd, who is looking at taking the next step in his professional career.
The German coach lost Xherdan Shaqiri and Georginio Wijnaldum in the summer and no replacements were purchased.
