Liverpool have reportedly identified Vitesse left-back, Max Clark, as a potential signing this winter.

Due to a lack of cover for Scottish defender, Andrew Robertson, the Merseyside Reds have been rumoured with a number of youngsters in recent weeks.

According to The Mirror, the latest name to appear on the shortlist of the leaders of the Premier League is Clark, who has made an impact in the Dutch division.

The 23-year-old defender has previously played fo Cambridge United and Hull City, has managed to found back of the net once and provided three assists from 17 appearances this term.

The report claimed that the Reds have been left particularly impressed with Clark’s ability to create chances and his impact at the offensive end, something which Jurgen Klopp values in his full-backs.

The Merseyside Reds have allegedly had scouts present for a number of games since the beginning of the season.

Meanwhile, Besiktas have reportedly expressed a desire to keep Liverpool stopper Loris Karius at the club for one more loan spell.

The German stopper has moved to Turkey on a two-year loan spell in 2018 following his terrible performance for the Merseyside Reds in the Champions League final against Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, the Merseyside Reds broke the world transfer record for a stopper by shelling out a fee of £66.8m on Brazilian star Alisson Becker, who has since cemented himself as the club’s first choice.

According to Fanatik, Besiktas are keen to keep Karius’ for another loan spell in Istanbul until the conclusion of the next campaign.
