Trent Alexander-Arnold will not be involved in a game against West Ham United on Monday night this according to Liverpool head-coach Jurgen Klopp.

Speaking during his press conference, as reported by Paul Joyce, the German manager has confirmed that the full-back has not yet recovered fully and unlikely to feature against West Ham.

As reported by the teams official website, Jurgen Klopp also added that the English defender will return to training next week to continue his rehabilitation.

There had been some hope that Trent Alexander-Arnold would be back by this point, however, that does not appear to be the case.

The right-back has been struggling with an injury since the Meryseide Reds game against Brighton & Hove Albion.

He sustained a knee injury during the warm-up of the game, however, continued to play through injury the match, however, has since suffered as a result.

The defender’s return will be a huge boost to the Merseyside Reds, with Jurgen Klopp forced into using both Jordan Henderson and James Milner as makeshift right-backs during his absence
