Nabil Fekir’s agent Jean-Pierre Bernes has reported that a potential move to Liverpool is still a possibility in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Soon after the end of the domestic campaign, the Merseyside Reds were said to be close to finalising a £53m deal for French forward before the start of the World Cup tournaments.
The transfer broke down as there has been completed and it appeared that negotiations would not continue at the end of the World Cup, however, the player agent has indicated that talks could be revived in the nearby future.
Bernes told La Chaine Info: “He didn’t sign because uh, it is not over! This is not the end of the story.”
In recent days, it has been reported that Fekir has been offered to Premier League teams for £66m.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are determined to finalise the transfer of another French forward Ousmane Dembele who is believed to be on his way out from Nou Camp after failing to secure regular first-team football under Ernesto Valverde.
