Liverpool head-coach Jurgen Klopp has been dealt yet another injury blow, with Croatian defender Dejan Lovren having suffered an injury setback.
The Croatian star has reportedly suffered a reoccurrence of a hamstring issue that has kept him in the sidelines for almost a month, having being out of the pitch early after sustaining an injury against Wolverhampton in their FA Cup game earlier at the start of the January.
The 29-year old now looks certain to depart on Monday’s game against West Ham United and could be a doubt for further games for February, although that will be determined by further assessment next week.
The World Cup finalist has reportedly joined the England duo Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez on the sidelines for the Merseyside Reds, as they are currently suffering somewhat of a defensive injury crisis.
The Reds will resume their Champions League pursuit against German champions Bayern Munich later this month in the competition’s Round of 16, and Liverpool will be hoping to have all possible options available to them by that point
