Bayern Munich starlet Jamal Musiala is reportedly ready to end any speculation about his future by signing a new deal with the German champions.
The 17-year-old linked up with the Bavarians youth teams in the summer of 2019 after departing from Chelsea, and he has enjoyed a breakthrough season with Hansi Flick’s side this term.
Musiala has played 23 games for the senior team in all competitions and boasts three goals in the German top-tier, leading to talk of a possible move back to England with Man Utd and Liverpool.
However, The Guardian claims that Bayern are desperate to keep hold of the England Under-21s side, and they have made significant progress in talks over a new five-year contract until 2026.
The report claims that Musiala will commit his future to Bayern Munich when he turns 18 on the 26th of this month, with his current contract set due to expire in 2022, and he could pocket up to £100k a week in Bavaria if he meets performance-related targets.
The English playmaker has already turned out for both England and Germany at youth level, with his national allegiance at senior level yet to be determined.
