Liverpool have reportedly been told that they must pay £44m to sign Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa in the summer.
The 20-year-old has enjoyed a breakthrough season for the Italian outfits, founding the net for six times and registering three assists to draw attention from Liverpool and hosts of European heavyweights.
According to Corriere dello Sport, La Viola are ready to sell their star player but they want at least €50m (£44m).
The Italian wonderkid has only penned a new contract with the Serie A giants in November last year keeping him at the club until the end of the 2021-22 season with the wage package of £35,000 per-week.
Italian wonderkid has been part of the Fiorentina setup since joining them at the age of nine earlier this year and has earned his first senior call-ups for Italy national team.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have also expressed interest in Chiesa during the January transfer window and it is believed that Antonio Conte’s side will try their lack in the summer as they plan to rival Liverpool in his signature.
