Liverpool-linked Patson Daka has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Serie A giants Roma this summer.
The 22-year-old Zambian star’s name features on many wishlists this summer following a superb year at Red Bull Salzburg.
He scored 27 times in 28 matches for Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga this term and as a result, has been linked with a transfer away from the club.
A move to England has been mooted with the suggestion Patson has appeared on the radar of the Anfield side this summer.
And according to Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport, he is on the shortlist of Roma as well ahead of the transfer market.
Jose Mourinho is keen to bring in a striker this summer and the Rome-based outfit are considering a number of options.
Daka’s goalscoring exploits haven’t gone unnoticed with I Giallorossi believed to be considering the player as a forward option.
RB Salzburg are known for being a selling club and are expected to think about offers for Jurgen Klopp’s side’s attacking target this summer.
It remains to be seen whether any of his potential buyers decide to make a concrete effort for Patson in the coming weeks.
