Liverpool are allegedly interested in signing Paulo Dybala for at least £60 million ahead of the summer transfer window with the star currently on the books at Juventus.
The Anfield side have some decent attacking variants already but there is a line of thought surrounding the club that bolstering to the squad needs to be undertaken in the coming transfer market between this season and next.
According to El Gol Digital, the Argentina international Dybala is of interest to the defending Premier League champions with the report revealing that Jurgen Klopp’s side and Sevilla are in the race for him.
They add that the attacker might cost north of £60 million to sign from Juventus and that could price the La Liga side out of the race, potentially leaving the route clear for the Reds to sign the 5-time Serie A champion.
Everyone knows the quality that Dybala has got and, though he has had a slightly frustrating season with the Old Lady, there is surely little doubt that there would be excitement over such an arrival.
£60 million minimum is a lot of money in normal financial conditions, however, and so it’d certainly be no shock that, if there is genuine Liverpool interest, the club would try and knock BIacnoneri down from that a little bit.
Meantime, Liverpool are allegedly prepared to sell Divock Origi in the summer and are open to teams submitting proposals for him.
That is according to a recent report by the Daily Mail, who claim Liverpool are said to be ‘inviting’ offers for the player in a bid to raise funds for new recruits in the summer.
