Liverpool are reportedly interested in securing the services of Napoli playmaker Piotr Zielinski this summer.
The 27-year-old midfielder has been with Gil Azzurri since 2016, playing 239 games in all competitions, scoring32 goals and providing 28 assists in the process.
Liverpool have previously been rumoured with the Poland international, as the Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is believed to be a huge fan of the midfielder’s talents.
According to Calciomercato, the Merseyside Reds have now renewed their interest in Zielinski and could attempt to bring him to Anfield ahead of the 2021/22 season.
The Pole enjoyed a stunning 2019-20 season for Napoli, founding back of the net 10 times and contributing 13 assists in 47 games in all competitions, including eight goals and 11 assists in Serie A.
Liverpool are in the market for a replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum who has made a switch to Paris Saint-Germain after his deal at Anfield expired and have also been rumoured with Leicester City’s playmaker Youri Tielemans and Lille’s Renato Sanches.
Liverpool have failed to defend the Premier League title last season also falling short in the Champions League and Jurgen Klopp is believed to make new addition this summer in order to compete for all possible trophies.
