Liverpool have reportedly joined the race to secure the services of young Red Bull Salzburg attacker Karim Adeyemi, alongside both Bayern Munich and Barcelona.

Three of Europe’s elite football teams are locked in a battle to land the services of the young German, who found back of the net seven times last campaign in the Austrian Bundesliga.

Adeyemi has started this campaign in fine form, with six goals in as many league matches so far, having recently made his international debut from the bench in Germany’s 6-0 win against Armenia, where he found back of the net first time for the nation.

According to a report from Bild, the Merseyside Reds are currently interested in securing the services of the starlet as Jurgen Klopp aims to strengthen his forward options.

Adeyemi first signed for RB Salzburg back in 2018 for just £2.5m, however, he is now being valued at £17m, which is a fee that could rise following to the competition to sign him.

The Merseyside Reds are not the only team keeping tabs on the striker, with both Bayern Munich and Barcelona having an interest in buying him as well.
