Liverpool are reportedly ready to make a move for Wolverhampton Wanderers midfield star Ruben Neves as a long-term replacement for Naby Keita who has failed to fulfil his potential since his transfer from RB Leipzig.
The 23-year-old midfielder, who has recently been rumoured with Man City and Tottenham Hotspur has again been in stunning form for Wolves this campaign, founding back of the net four times in 43 games in all competitions.
A recent report suggested that the Merseyside Reds were keen to secure the services of both Ruben Neves and Adama Traore from Nuno Espirito Santo’s side in the summer transfer window.
According to Milan Live, the UCL giants view the Portugal international midfielder as a possible replacement for their flop Keita, who has struggled to settle at Anfield since joining them from RB Leipzig back in 2018.
A number of Bundesliga team, in addition to Serie A giants AC Milan, are allegedly interested in securing the services the 25-year-old ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
Keita has been restricted to just nine Premier League games during the current campaign and it seems that Jurgen Klopp doesn’t consider him in his future plans.
