Liverpool have been given massive injury boost with the news that Dutch international midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum looks set to be fit to face Premier League giants Leicester City when the two teams meet next Wednesday evening.
The Dutchman has missed the 4-3 victory over Crystal Palace with a knee injury that he picked up against Brighton and Hove Albion earlier this month.
Speaking to the official Liverpool website, the Merseyside Reds head-coach Jurgen Klopp announced that Georginho Wijnaldum would take part in one of the Reds training sessions ahead of Leicester City clash.
“Gini is good, better. The plan is that he will have one session today and then we have to see how he reacts on that. Hopefully, we can build from that point.”
Dutch international midfielder has been one of the Merseyside Reds standout performers this campaign and Jurgen Klopp will be glad to have him back in the squad, especially as his midfield options are somewhat limited has bee suspended and Fabinho has been ruled out for several weeks.
