Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe is reportedly requesting that a release clause is inserted into any potential new deal signed with French champions, which would allow him to depart from the club whenever he chooses.

The 22-year-old forward who will see his current contract expire at the end of next campaign, has been rumoured with the likes of Real Madrid and Liverpool in recent months, with both teams considering making a big-money offer next summer.

According to French news outlet Foot Mercato, Kylian Mpappe is willing to sign a lucrative new contract with the Ligue 1 giats as long as a few conditions are agreed.

Firstly, the World Cup winning forward wants a salary that would match the club’s top earner Neymar, who is currently earning around £520,000 per week.

France international forward would also like a release clause included which states that he has the option to leave PSG at the end of any future campaign if the right offer comes in for him.

It stays to be seen whether Ligue 1 champions would agree to these requests, as they may not be keen on accepting such insecure terms for one of their star players.

Mbappe has played 30 appearances in all competitions so far this season were he has managed to found back of the net 21 times and providing nine assists.
