Liverpool have reportedly started monitoring Olympiacos playmaker Aguibou Camara after being impressed with the player’s performance against Fenerbahce in the UEFA Europa League last month.
Having joined the Greek outfit from French champions Lille in the summer transfer market, the highly-rated midfielder is slowly establishing himself as a regular starter for them.
The 20-year-old star has made ten appearances in all competitions for Olympiacos thus far, scoring two goals and picking up one assist in the process.
He also starred in the club’s most recent UEL outing against the Turkish Super Lig heavyweights, helping his team to a 3-0 victory and catching the eye of European giants Liverpool.
According to Greek source Sportime, the Anfield side have started scouting the ace after being impressed with his showing against Fener last month.
A Reds scout, who was in attendance when Thrylos beat Vitor Pereira’s side 3-0, is understood to have taken note of the Guinean star.
Having been impressed with Aguibou, the Merseyside-based outfit are expected to continue watching his development at Olympiacos.
It remains to be seen if the Reds, who previously purchased Konstantinos Tsimikas from Olympiacos, will look to do business with them again.
