It was reported by the British media that Liverpool are considering to hijack Tottenham Hotspur move for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot after the Spurs narrowly missed to sign the midfielder in January transfer window.

The 23-year-old star was on the verge of joining the London giants from PSG before his father died and his transfer plans took a backseat.

Barcelona, Liverpool and Arsenal have been linked with the French midfielder, while Manchester United are the latest Premier League side understood to be considering a move.

According to The Mirror, Tottenham believe they are in danger of losing Adrien Rabiot to either Liverpool or Barcelona ტჰის summer, despite coming so close to signing him in a £20m deal last month.

It is believed that Rabiot is favouring a move to Anfield over Spurs, and could be convinced to turn down Tottenham so he can work under Jurgen Klopp.

Paris Saint-Germain are furious to have missed out on a fee for Adrien Rabiot last January as the midfielder will now run down his contract and leave a free agent at the end of the campaign.

The Frenchman has even been suspended by PSG for refusing to sign a new contract deal and has not played since December for the Ligue 1 champions.

Tottenham are considering Rabiot as a No.1 target in midfield position and are keen to end their transfer drought by signing the Frenchman. Mauricio Pochettino’s side have not signed any player in the last two transfer windows and expect a battle for Rabiot at the end of the season.
