Liverpool are reportedly open to cashing in on 24-year-old defender Nat Phillips during the summer transfer window.
Acting as a replacement for Virgil van Dijk who has been out for the most of the season due to injury, Phillips proved invaluable last campaign as he played 20 games in all competitions.
The 24-year-old played a vital role in the middle of the defensive end, particularly during the closing weeks of the season as the Merseyside Reds secured qualification for the Champions League.
However, according to Goal, the Merseyside Reds are prepared to sell the player for the right price.
The report claims that Brighton & Hove Albion and Burnley are favourites in the race, while Southampton and Newcastle United are also believed to hold an interest in the Englishman.
Jurgen Klopp’s side may be willing to consider any offers in excess of £10m.
Meanwhile, Leicester City playmaker Youri Tielemans has brushed off transfer rumours that have linked him with a switch to Liverpool.
The Merseyside Reds are on the search for Georginio Wijnaldum’s replacement after the Dutch international finalised a move to PSG, and Tielemans is reportedly of interest to Jurgen Klopp.
Tielemans has enjoyed his highest-scoring campaign with Brendan Rodgers’s side during the 2020-21 season, when he found the back of the net on six times, including an FA Cup-winning goal against Chelsea.
