Liverpool are reportedly ready to sell both Xherdan Shaqiri and Divock Origi when the transfer window will be re-opened in January to to raise funds for new signings.
Divock Origi was handed a rare start against Atalanta BC earlier in the middle of the week in the Champions League, however, Belgian forward has struggled to contribute in his team’s 2-0 loss.
A recent report suggested that the 25-year-old striker was open to departing from the Merseyside Reds during the January transfer window as he looks to secure a spot in the Belgium team for next summer’s European championships.
Shaqiri, meanwhile, has only played two Premier League games this campaign and is also down the pecking order when it comes to select XI players for the team.
According to The Express, Jurgen Klopp’s side could look to move both players in 2021 in order to boost their transfer kitty, with a new centre-back believed to be a priority in the winter market following the season ending injuries of Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk.
Jurgen Klopp’s side will return to Premier League when they travel to Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday afternoon and hope to secure their back-to-back victories.
