Liverpool are reportedly ready to offload creative midfielder Takumi Minamino this summer as they look to secure services of Sevilla winger Lucas Ocampos.

While Argentine forward has endured a mixed season at Sevilla this campaign, the 26-year-old stays on the radar of some of European football’s top teams after his form in the Europa League during 2020.

The Merseyside Reds have been heavily linked with a move for the Argentine midfielder as Jurgen Klopp looks to freshen up his team at Anfield.

According to La Razon, the Merseyside Reds are prepared to include out-of-favour Minamino in any proposal for Argentine winger.

Despite impressing during the early weeks of his loan spell at Southampton, it is reported that the Japanese is unlikely to reclaim a spot in Jurgen Klopp’s starting XI and it would be wiser to sell him in the summer.

Minamino made just four starts in the Premier League season during his first year at Liverpool.

Meanwhile, The Merseyside giants have identified Borussia Monchengladbach player Denis Zakaria as their desired replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum. As such, the Merseyside giants now feel they are in need of midfield reinforcements in the summer and have targeted Switzerland international.

The Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder, who is regarded as one of the most promising midfielders in Germany, has already attracted a lot of attention across Europe, with a move away from Borussia Park likely on the horizon.
