Liverpool plotting a summer move for world-cup winning forward valued at £200m

Spanish outlet El Desmarque reported that Premier League giants Liverpool have put an offer to secure the services of Kylian Mbappe from PSG.

The report claims that the Merseyside Reds are one of four teams to table an offer for the world-cup winning forward with Real Madrid are believed to be frontrunners to lure him away from Parc de Princes.

Real Madrid are reportedly going big on Kylian Mbappe, as per AS, and should the Merseyside Reds actually make a move, they will face still competition from the Spaniards.

The World Cup winning attacker’s current deal isn’t up until the summer of 2022 so Ligue 1 champions are in no position to be forced to sell their key man.

However, should Mbappe leave the PSG he would be a quality signing for the Merseyside Reds, however, they got to think realistically here – it’s likely that his price tag has been around £200million.

Meanwhile, Liverpool No 2 stopper Adrian is being touted as a target for his former club Real Betis ahead of the summer transfer window.

The 33-year-old joined the Merseyside Reds on a free transfer from the Hammers last summer, and was called into action from the start after first-choice goalkeeper Alisson was out due to knee injury on the opening day of the season.

He has played eight Premier League games and played a vital role in the Merseyside Reds win over Chelsea in the UEFA Super Cup, however, he is now being considered by La Liga club Real Betis, according to Estadio Deportivo.

Real Madrid set to beat Liverpool in their pursuit of £65m-rated La Liga star

Real Madrid are believed to planning to sign a long term successor for their legend, Sergio Ramos after he starts to push towards the end of their career and Sevilla defender Diego Carlos has been on their shortlist, however, they will face stiff competition from Liverpool.

Sergio Ramos will go down as a Real Madrid one of the best players of all time. Not only is he an excellent centre-back, but his goalscoring record is impressive and it will be tough for the Los Blancos to replace him after he ends his career.

It seems that Zinedine Zidane’s side are now actively seeking a new centre-back, and a report from Spain claim that they quote sources from Spain suggest that Sevilla’s defender Diego Carlos is the man they want.

Liverpool are also interested in securing the services of Diego Carlos who Sevilla value £65m to let him go.

The 26-year-old defender seems to one of the best players in the La Liga.

It’s unclear if either Liverpool or Real Madrid manage to lure him away from Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium after the end of the current campaign.

“He has the same characteristics as I did” – Brazilian legend compares Liverpool defender to himself

Brazilian football legend Cafu has compared Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold to himself.

The talented English defender has been in stunning form for the Merseyside Reds for the last three years, this term he has managed to found back of the net twice and provided a further 10 assists in 26 Premier League games.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Brazilian legend said: “I think Alexander-Arnold is one of the best in the world, no doubt about it.

“He’s a great player – and I would say he has the same characteristics as I did.

“He has got big potential. He is strong and skillful, he really takes the game forward and he’s a player who sets up goals for Liverpool.

“So, yes, I can see lots of similarities between him and me when I was playing. I would say he’s got a Brazilian instinct in the way he plays.”

The 49-year-old Brazilian defender who stays the most-capped in his national team of all time also tipped Alexander-Arnold to win the Ballon d’Or before he ends up his playing career if he keeps playing the same way and continues to improve his skillsets.

Liverpool are currently unbeatable in the Premier League and likely to win the trophy after the end of the 2019/21 season year after they claimed the Champions League trophy.
