Liverpool have pulled off some tremendous signing in the recent season that helped them to dominate in Europe and Premier League.

Michael Edwards’ appointment could go down as one of the Reds best board appointments of the century.

Liverpool experienced midfielder James Milner will need replacing in a few years time.

And the Merseyside Reds could try to replace him with David Alaba for free in the summer.

The Reds signed Milner back in 2015, snapping him on a free transfer from their Premier League rivals Man City.

Since arriving at Anfield, he has earned cult status. The Englishman’s versatility has been crucial for Jurgen Klopp’s side and last term he has played a vital role in the Merseyside Reds success in the Champions League.

At 34-years-old, Liverpool need to accept that he won’t be around forever and should look in the market to replace him.

Liverpool should make a move for Bayern Munich defender David Alaba to fill the gap that will be left after the departure of James Milner.

The Austrian star has recently lost the place to Davies at Bayern Munich and could be open to leaving the German champions this summer.

Alaba’s deal expires in 2021 and Liverpool could try to sign him for free or on a cut-price deal in the winter.

Alaba is just 27-years-old and could be the perfect addition to Jurgen Klopp’s side as he is capable of playing in the midfield are or on a left-back position as well.

Liverpool identified La Liga trio as their top transfer target this summer

Liverpool have reportedly identified three world-class players from Spanish teams as possible additions during the summer transfer window.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the Merseyside Reds are being made to wait before becoming the English top-flight champions.

However, according to reports in Spain, it has not prevented the Merseyside Reds head-coach, Jurgen Klopp from drawing up a shortlist of targets ahead of the 2021/22 season.

Athletic Bilbao defender Unai Nunez, Villarreal forward Samuel Chukwueze and Real Madrid midfield star Isco are all in the thoughts of the Liverpool’s head-coach.

While Nunez Chukwueze have over three years remaining on their respective deals, their teams may be prepared to cash in on their star player this summer and Liverpool seems to be open to splash money in order to continue domination in the Premier League and Europe as well.

The same can be said of Real Madrid playmaker Isco, who has been tipped to depart from the Los Blancos over the last two years and this summer could be the last from him in Spain and he would perfectly fit in Jurgen Klopp’s squad.

After the departure of Coutinho Liverpool are missing creativity in the midfield are and Isco could help them to improve their game,
