Corriere dello Sport has revealed that Liverpool are ahead of Paris Saint Gemain and Manchester City in race for Bosnian midfielder Miralem Pjanic.
The 24-years old player has been linked with away move from the club recently. He has reportedly opted for moving to Anfield. The parties will now have to agree on transfer fee.
Roma demand £50m for the former Lyon star. However, Liverpool are only willing to pay £45m. Brendan Rodgers wants Pjanic to replace Steven Gerrard for the next season.
The Reds could sell £30m star to Tottenham Hotspur in order to fund the deal.
