Liverpool have been reportedly interested in signing of Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes who has been on loan to their arch-rivals Everton.
The Mirror have reported that the Merseyside Reds could launch a move for the Portuguese midfielder after his spell end at Everton, however, some of the sources claim that they could secure his services in January.
Gomes impressed in the Merseyside derby recently and has been one of the best performers in recent weeks for Everton.
Although his performance was not enough to secure a victory in the Merseyside derby, Gomes appears to have rediscovered his best form with a new head-coach Marco Silva.
His recent run of form has sparked talk of a permanent switch to England.
Everton do not have the option to buy Gomes as part of their agreement with the Catalan club, meaning interest could rise if he continues to shine at Goodison Park.
Gomes is expected to complete a permanent move away from Barcelona at the end of the season following an unhappy time at the Nou Camp after his move from Valencia and Liverpool and Everton are both interested to secure his services.
