Liverpool want to sign Roma goalkeeper Alisson ahead of the summer window. Roma believe Alisson is one of the best in his position in Europe and value him at £62m potentially a world-record price for a goalkeeper.
Alisson joined Roma from Internacional in 2016. Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are interested in Brazil international goalkeeper with 22 caps.
Current Liverpool keeper Simon Mignolet has lost his place to Loris Karius, who made terrible mistakes in the Champions League final against Real Madrid. So, Becker is a perfect replacement for Liverpool.
Alisson has seen his stock rise for the Serie A outfit. The Brazilian, who has been dubbed the “Lionel Messi of goalkeeping” has been closely monitored by Jurgen Klopp. Liverpool earlier this year informed Alisson’s representatives not to expect a bid this summer, although that could change over the coming weeks with Klopp considering his options as he looked to overhaul the goalkeeping department.
Alisson is an expert shot-stopper and a renowned “sweeper-keeper”, he made six saves in Roma’s 2-1 loss to Shakhtar Donetsk and enjoyed a passing accuracy of 89 percent. However, he is only 25years old.
