Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson has praised ‘outstanding’ summer signing Naby Keïta after the Reds fought back to beat Burnley 3-1 on Wednesday.
The Guinea international midifelder has struggled for fitness in recent months, and in his first Premier League start since September, the ex-RB Leipzig playmaker excelled for the Reds.
And the cub captain, Jordan Henderson who has played alongside with Keita against Burnley, was impressed with what he saw. As quoted by Mirror Online, Henderson said:
“He started the season brilliantly and obviously then getting an injury set him back a little bit. But you can see how good a player he is.
“That shot with the left foot and the save from Hart was fantastic. In his overall play he is comfortable on the ball and he helps build up play from the back.
“He drives the ball forward, which is big for us. I thought he was outstanding, along with everybody else really.”
Meanwhile, another Liverpool summer signing Fabinho seems to be unhappy at Anfield and could leave the club in January.
