Liverpool are reportedly hoping to reach a pre-contract agreement to land Fulham starlet Fabio Carvalho this summer after seeing a winter deadline day move collapse.
The Merseyside outfit had an agreement in place with the Cottagers’ board to sign the Englishman on the transfer deadline day with an idea to loan the player back to the EFL Championship side for the rest of the term.
The Reds are said to have even had the ace’s medical completed, but the outfits could not complete the paperwork in time to complete the transfer before the deadline.
As a result, he’ll remain a Fulham player for the remainder of the season until his deal expires in June this year.
And Paul Joyce reports Liverpool could continue talks with the 19-year-old star and his club to reach a pre-agreement to complete the playmaker’s signing in the summer transfer market later this year.
Considering his ability to play in a multitude of roles in the final third, Fabio would add variants in the attacking third at the German head coach Jurgen Klopp’s disposal, while his huge potential would make him an exciting addition on Merseyside.
