Liverpool versatile midfielder James Milner could complete a dramatic move to Leeds after the season ends if the club secures a promotion to the Premier League.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, who cite claims from the Daily Star, English midfielder could return to Elland Road for free if Marcelo Bielsa guides them back to the Premier League.

James Milner is yet to be offered a new contract at Anfield, despite a strong personal start to the 2018/19 season.

Leeds are also among the favourites to secure a promotion to the English top-tier following their fantastic start under Marcelo Bielsa

The club currently sit top of the Championship table after losing only one game from the opening six.

Milner came through the ranks at Leeds before joining the Newcastle United back in 2004. Despite playing for the likes of Man City and Liverpool, James has remained proud of where he has begun his career.

There have also been suggestions that a move to the USA could be a possibility, with David Beckham wants to lure Milner at his new club MIAMI.
