Liverpool midfielder James Milner hasn’t ruled out the possibility of eventually heading north of the boarder and signing for his former manager Brendan Rodgers of his ex-teammate Steven Gerrard.
The Englishman, who’s arguably been the Merseyside Reds best player so far this season, was speaking to the Herald ahead of clash with Celtic greats and Liverpool legends team, in A charity Match for Cancer at Celtic Park on September 8th.
“I would never say never. You never know what is going to happen!” he began.
“They are always good games to watch anyway, but there is a bit of added spice this time with the two managers (Brendan Rodgers and Steven Gerrard) going up against each other and their history.”
The 32-year-old midfielder is arguably playing some of the best football of his entire career under Jurgen Klopp..
His natural fitness is phenomenal, and the fact he works hard exceptionally means he’s not considering to end hisfootball career.
In fact, against the odds, former England international has started all three of Liverpool Premier League wins so far and is keeping £44m Brazilian Fabinho and Henderson out of Klopp’s Starting XI.
