Liverpool and their Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur are ready to fight for the services of Inter Milan midfield star Marcelo Brozovic, according to the reports from Italy.
Croatia international midfielder has attracted interest from hosts of European clubs due to his cut-price valuation.
Serie A giants are believed to have made the 32-cap Croatia international available to purchase as they are in danger to be involved in the Financial Fair Play sanctions, with £12m likely to be enough to lure away Brozovic from San Siro.
Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport reported that Jurgen Klopp sees Brozovic as a replacement for Philippe Coutinho. However, Spurs are ahead in the race and likely to secure the services of Croatian star after the end of the 2017/18 season.
Half of Brozovic’s 14 Serie A appearances this campaign have been started, playing a direct part in four goals and being one of the key players for Luciano Spaletti’s side.
Brozovic has also been a target for Arsenal that are currently in the market for a new midfielder following the departure of Alexis Sanchez.
