Manchester United head-coach Jose Mourinho could reportedly allow Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea to leave for Real Madrid. However, they are demanding Raphael Varane in exchange.
Former Atletico Madrid keeper has been in standout form for the Red Devils in the recent years and has long been targeted by Real Madrid, although the Red Devils have seemingly rebuffed all attempts from the Los Blancos for the keeper’s services since the failed transfer back in 2015.
According to Don Balon, Mourinho may allow his former club to finally land their man to Santiago Bernabeu if they allow Raphael Varane to make the switch to the opposite side.
The same report claimed that the Los Blancs would still have to pay a handsome fee, as well as including Varane in order to lure Spanish keeper to Old Trafford.
De Gea has earned 11 clean sheets in 15 appearances for Jose Mourinho’s side this term and continues to remain on top of his form helping his side to remain in the race for Premier League title.
