Manchester United could be in line to land a massive double signing in the upcoming January transfer window, even if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is only in caretaker at the moment.

First in the wishlist is Juventus attacker Douglas Costa with Italian publication AS reporting that the Red Devils have tabled a bid of almost £54 million to land the Brazilian, although Calciomercato claims that Old Lady will only let him leave in the summer rather than January.

The 28-year-old winger has started just three Serie A games this season, spending more time on the bench than on the pitch.

Another option for the Red Devils is Eder Militao, according to Portuguese publication Record, who was linked with Old Trafford outfit several times.

Manchester United are a ‘shark’ ready to snap up the defender, even though his current club Porto are moving to up his release clause up to around £45 million.

The centre-back only moved to Europe this season, leaving Sao Paolo in his native Brazil and the youngster made his senior international debut in September.

The 20-year-old defender would be a great addition to the United side which looks promising under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
