Man United are reportedly planning to recall talented forward Facundo Pellistri from his loan spell at Alaves.

The 19-year-old winger has returned to the La Liga outfit on loan over the summer and has featured on seven occasions during the 2021-22 season.

The Uruguay international forward has been mainly used off the bench this season, though, starting only one game in the Spanish top-tier.

According to Noticias Dealava, the Red Devils are weighing up the possibility of bringing the Uruguayan back to Old Trafford when the transfer window will be re-opened in January before sending him on another loan where he will play regular first-team football and Championship seems to be an ideal place for him to settle in England and adapt to the style of the English game.

Pellistri, who joined Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team from Penarol in October 2020, was involved in the Red Devils pre-season preparations, however, is yet to make his first-team debut for the club.

The South American, who has largely featured as a right-sided winger this season, still has four years left to run on his current deal with the 20-time English champions.
