Watford forward Ismaila Sarr has reportedly emerged as a surprise transfer target for Manchester United.
The 20-times English champions continue to be rumoured with Jadon Sancho, however, it remains to be seen whether the team are able to agree on a deal with Borussia Dortmund before the transfer window shuts on October 5.
According to The Independent, Man Utd are currently weighing up alternatives to the England international and have identified the 22-year-old Watford forward as an option.
The report suggests that the Senegal international, who is also believed to be a transfer target for Liverpool, could be available for £30m following the Hornets relegation to the Championship.
The 22-year-old forward has joined the Hornets from Ligue 1 outfits Rennes last summer and impressed during his first campaign in the English top-tier, founding back of the net five times and providing six assists in 28 games.
Sarr still has four years left to run on his current deal at Vicarage Road.
Ole Gunnar Solskajer sees Watford star as a perfect alternative to Jadon Sancho who has been their main transfer target, however, Dortmund refusing to reduce their £108m asking price and the deal could collapse.
