Man Utd stopper Dean Henderson will reportedly demand a departure from Old Trafford if he is not guaranteed the number one jersey for the 2021-22 season.
The 23-year-old enjoyed a successful two years on loan at Sheffield United and starred for the Blades in their stunning 2019-20 campaign, however, he has struggled to get a look-in at United.
Indeed, English stopper has played just 12 games across all competitions for the Red Devils this campaign- three in the English top-tier – and he is believed to be frustrated at playing second fiddle to David de Gea.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the 23-year-old keeper will therefore head for the Old Trafford exit door unless Ole Gunnar Solskjaer make him first-choice at the club over David de Gea.
The report suggests that if the club were to sanction an exit for Henderson, they would ask any potential suitors to fork out £40m, with West Ham, Chelsea and Tottenham all believed to be keeping tabs on the situation.
The shot-stopper signed a contract extension with the 20-times English champions ntil the end of the 2024-25 season last summer.
