Ander Herrera is reportedly considering leaving Manchester United midway through the season after getting frustrated with the lack of playing time under Jose Mourinho.
The Spanish midfielder is due to be out of his current deal at Man Utd next summer and is, therefore, free to discuss terms with the foreign team during the January transfer window.
According to The Metro, a new contract from the Red Devils has not been forthcoming and Spaniard is now weighing up all of his options.
The 29-year-old defensive midfielder, a part of the Red Devils’ squad since 2014, has been given a combined 69 minutes of first-team football during the 2018-19 season.
Ex-club Athletic Bilbao were rumoured with a reunion earlier this year, four years after selling the 29-year-old valued at £29m.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have been tipped to make a move for Real Madrid superstar Toni Kroos with Jose Mourinho is keen on to replace Paul Pogba.
Kroos has been one of the best players in the world at the moment and could be an ideal addition to Mourinho’s squad.
