Scottish giants Celtic have been linked with securing the services of Manchester United starlet Aliou Traoré.
The French wonderkid has been identified as a target by several teams and reports from France Football have claimed the Scottish Champions are also in the hunt for 19-year-old’s services.
The midfielder has been in fine form for the Red Devils U23s, however, with players like Scott McTominay, Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba are in the midfield area at ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side it seems unlikely to see him earning first-team minutes in the senior club.
Scottish giants have form scouring the Premier League academies in the hunt for promising youngsters.
Traoré, who started his career with Ligue 1 giants, PSG, was part of Nicky Butt’s UEFA Youth League winning side and it would be an ideal acquisition for Celtic. In the aftermath of the Coronavirus pandemic young talent is at a premium and with one year left on his current deal, Celtic could persuade Traoré to join the Bhoys ahead of the next season.
Last term Celtic signed Frimpong and Lee O’Connor from the Red Devils they have also signed Luca Connell and Jonathan Afolabi from English sides, exploiting the rule.
Going further back, Moussa Dembele joined from Fulham and Frenchman who plays now in Lyon has been valued at £50m.
