Premier League giants Chelsea and Manchester United are allegedly weighing up the possibility of moving for Inter Milan playmaker Christian Eriksen when the transfer window will be re-opened in January.
The Denmark international has struggled to impress for Antonio Conte’s side since joining them from Tottenham earlier last summer.
The 28-year-old has not assisted or scored a goal in all competitions this season, while he has managed just four goals and three assists in 33 appearances for Inter Milan since his arrival.
A recent report suggested that the Red Devils and Chelsea are planning to make a January move for the former Spurs playmaker, who could be available for a fee in the region of £18m.
According to Corriere dello Sport, there is genuine interest from the 20-time English champions, while Frnak Lampard’s side are also believed to be closely keeping tabs on the developments surrounding the playmaker.
Eriksen has found back of the net 69 times and provided 89 assists in 305 games for Spurs during his time in England before seeking pastures new.
Serie A champions Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have also recently been credited with an interest in the Dane who is believed to be valued at £30m by Inter Milan
