Brighton & Hove Albion centre-back Ben White is reportedly open to snub interest from Liverpool in order to make a move to Man Utd in the 2021-22 season.
The 23-year-old centre-back has played a vital role in Leeds United’s promotion to the Premier League in 2019-20 season, and his form for Leeds and Brighton have seen him rumoured with a move to Anfield in the past with Jurgen Klopp considered him as a perfect defensive partner for Virgil van Dijk.
English defender has quickly established himself as a regular in Graham Potter’s backline with 28 Premier League starts this term, however, the Seagulls will face an uphill battle to keep him at the club, especially if they suffer relegation.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the 23-year-old defender hopes to be plying his trade at a Champions League club in the next few years, and Man United is a possible destination while Liverpool are in danger to miss place in the top-four.
However, the report adds that Brighton will fight tooth and nail to keep 23-year-old defender on the books at the Amex Stadium, however, a fee of £35m could be enough to prise him away from the South Coast.
White, who has also displayed his qualities in midfield area this season, stays contracted to the Brighton until the end of the 2023-24 campaign.
