According to Mundo Deportivo, FC Barcelona have identified Dani Olmo as a top transfer target for the January transfer window and have joined Liverpool and Man Utd to secure his services.

It is believed that the Spanish giants are ready to splash around £35 million to attain the services of Olmo.

They are even willing to keep him at Dinamo Zagreb for the remainder of the season However, the Catalans are expected to face tough competition from a host of top teams from the Premier League including Liverpool and Man Utd.

The Red Devils would be keen on adding offensive reinforcements following an underwhelming start to the current campaign that has seen them score only 32 goals, fewer than any other team in the top six.

They have lacked the presence of someone, who can create the game and provide key passes to Marcus Rasfhord.

The addition of Olmo would provide a little bit of refreshment in the Red Devils offense. The Spaniard could be considered as a potential long-term replacement for Juan Mata who is expected to depart from the club in the nearby future.

As for Barcelona, they, too, are in desperate need of strengthening in the attacking option. Following the loan exit of Philippe Coutinho, who has joined Bayern Munich.

Ousmane Dembele has struggled to remain healthy and while he has been on the pitch fans are disappointed with his performance.

Re-signing Olmo, in that regard, could turn out to be a masterstroke. The talented Spaniard has already made an impression in the European Under-21 Championship earlier last summer and is regarded as one of the most talented attacking midfielders in Europe.
