Inter Milan’s Slovakian defender Milan Skriniar was a target of Man United during the summer, who wanted to bring the 23-year-old star to Old Trafford to strengthen their defensive options. but, Inter set the price tag extortionately high and the Red Devils have could their interest in his signature.
As per reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, talks that have been taken place between Skriniar, his entourage and Serie A giants have stalled, after months with little progress. Skriniar’s agents are attempting to get him a better contract than his current deal; which sees him to earn the defender €1.7 million per campaign.
Inter Milan reportedly offered Slovakian defender a pay rise that would see him earn €2.5 million per campaign, yet this was refused as the defender’s agent believes that he is deserving of at least €3 million in order to remain at San Sior. It is not panic stations just yet for Inter, however, they will want to work on a deal soon before a bigger club offer Skriniar an improved offer.
