Premier League giants, Manchester United have reportedly made an enquiry for Chelsea midfield destroyer, N’Golo Kante.
The 20-times English champions are expected to be active in the transfer market before it shuts down in one week and continue to be rumoured with a big-money move for Borussia Dortmund’s winger Jadon Sancho.
However, according to The Mirror, Man Utd are also eyeing a surprise swoop for Chelsea anchorman N’Golo Kante, having opened talks with the France international’s advisors to discuss a possible move to Old Trafford.
The report suggests that the 2018 World Cup winning midfielder would have to take a ‘big cut’ on his current £300,000-a-week wages to complete switch to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, however, the deal is a possibility as the West London club are said to be open to allowing the ex-Leicester City midfielder to depart from the club.
Frank Lampard’s team are allegedly attempting to finalise a deal for West Ham United’s Declan Rice, which could see Kante leaving Stamford Bridge on the deadline day of the current transfer window.
Inter Milan have also been heavily linked with a move for N’Golo Kante, however, Italian giants have recently ruled themselves out of the running.
