Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly joined Man Utd and Chelsea in the hunt for Lazio midfield star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The 25-year-old Serbian midfielder has again been in stunning form for his Italian club during the 2019-20 season before it had been suspended following the coronavirus pandemic, Savic has managed to found back of the net five times and provided seven assists in 31 games in all competitions.
Chelsea and Manchester United have recently rumoured with a move for the 25-year-old playmaker, who has a deal at Stadio Olimpico until the end of the 2023-24 campaign.
However, according to Calciomercato, the Spurs are also exploring the possibility of luring the Serbia international midfielder in the Premier League when the transfer window will be re-opened in the summer.
Lazio sporting director Igli Tare recently suggested that Milinkovic-Savic will be free to depart from the club this summer if he wishes, although the Serie A giants are believed to demanding fee around £80m for his signature.
The huge price tag on Serbian midfielder’s head could give Man Utd and Chelsea edge over Tottenham to get the deal done for the Serbian midfielder.
Tottenham are also believed to be planning a move for Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
